Can I use RepairDash in Ireland or the UK?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick your country during sign-up and RepairDash sets your VAT rate, currency, date format and phone format accordingly — Ireland 23% and EUR, the UK 20% and GBP. Invoices, receipts, quotes and customer emails are all produced in English.

Does RepairDash handle the VAT margin scheme for used devices?

Yes, and it is one of the reasons shops move to us. When you buy a used phone from a private seller and resell it, RepairDash calculates VAT on your margin instead of the full selling price and prints the correct wording on the invoice. It also keeps the purchase contract, condition report and IMEI on file for each unit.

What if I am not VAT-registered yet?

Turn on VAT-exempt mode in settings. Every invoice, receipt, quote and online booking price is then shown and stored without VAT. When you cross the threshold, flip the switch — historical documents are untouched.

Is there a limit on jobs, users or customers?

Accepted Answer

No. €29 per month covers unlimited repair jobs, unlimited staff logins, unlimited customers and unlimited B2B partner accounts. There are no tokens, no credits and no per-ticket fee — the number you see is the number you pay.

Question 5

Which integrations are available outside Germany and Austria?

Accepted Answer

SumUp for card payments, Twilio for SMS from your own sender name, the WordPress plugin and RepairWidget for online bookings, your own SMTP domain for email, and an open REST API with webhooks. Some of our accounting and till connectors are specific to the German and Austrian market, so we do not advertise them here — for accounting you export clean CSV or Excel files, or pull data through the API.

Where is my data stored?

On servers inside the European Union, with daily automated backups to three separate machines. RepairDash is built to GDPR requirements: granular permissions, a full audit trail, and one-click erasure of a customer record on request.

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

About fifteen minutes. Create the account, upload your logo, enter your address and VAT details, and start taking jobs. Device and model lists are already loaded. Existing customers and stock can be imported from CSV.

Can I move my data out again?

Accepted Answer

Any time, at no cost. Customers, jobs, sales, purchases and stock all export to CSV or Excel, and the REST API is open to you. We would rather earn the renewal than trap you.

Do customers need an app?

Accepted Answer

No. Every job gets a private tracking link and QR code that opens in any browser, so your customer checks progress without installing anything — and without ringing the shop.

Question 10

Can I run more than one shop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add as many locations as you need on the same subscription, assign each job to a location, filter every report by location, and see a full log of who moved a job and when.
